US producer prices up 0.2% in August

StockMarketWire.com - The US Producer Price Index rose by 0.2% in August, seasonally adjusted, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics said today.

Final demand prices edged down 0.1% in July and moved up 0.1% in June.

On an unadjusted basis, the final demand index increased 2.4% for the 12 months ended in August.
