US producer price index rises 0.3% in June, beating expectations

StockMarketWire.com - The US producer price index for final demand rose 0.3% in June, compared to May, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The rise was greater than market expectations of a 0.2% improvement.

Prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services also moved up 0.3%, beating expectations for a 0.2% rise.
