Avast adjusted revenue up 5% in third quarter

StockMarketWire.com - Cybersecurity company Avast said it grew adjusted revenue by 5% in the third quarter amid ongoing billings growth. For the three months ended 30 September, adjusted Ebitda increased 8.7% to $121.9m on revenue of $220.3m, with adjusted billings growth of about 9.0%. The company reaffirmed its 2019 outlook for adjusted revenue to be at the upper end of high single digit growth, excluding FX, discontinued business and the sale of managed workplace, with a broadly flat adjusted operating margin. 'Avast has delivered good growth in the third quarter, consistent with our expectations at the time of the Half Year Results in August,' the company said.
