Just Eat revenue up 25% in Q3 amid softer consumer backdrop in UK

07:25 21/10/2019
StockMarketWire.com - Food delivery company Just Eat said revenue grew by 25% in the third quarter, even as softer consumer spending in the UK kept a lid on orders. For the three months to 30 September 2019, revenue increased 25% to £247.5m and orders were up 16% to 62m. UK orders increased by 8% to 33m, driven by rapid growth in the delivery business, offset by slower growth in its marketplace business, the company said. Just Eat reconfirmed its guidance for full year 2019 revenue in the range of £1.0bn to £1.1bn and earnings in the range of £185m to £205m, both excluding Brazil and Mexico.
