W Resources starts feeding ore to concentrator plant at La Parrilla tungsten mine
StockMarketWire.com - W Resources said it had fed first upgraded jigged ore to a new concentrator plant at its La Parrilla tungsten mine in Spain.
First ore was fed to the plant on 17 October, with an extensive programme of automated systems installation and commissioning being completed at the plant over the past month.
Commissioning was also complete on spiral and shaking table plants, and a concentrator thickener.
Commissioning of floatation, magnetic and electrostatic separators was underway and contractor allmineral Aufbereitungstechnik had advised they expected that would be completed 'in the coming weeks'.
'Very significant progress has been made over the last month in commissioning the new La Parrilla concentrator plant, with commissioning of the final phase nearing completion,' chairman Michael Masterman said.
'It is great to see the concentrator plant start-up on ore for production at our flagship project.'
